Both Jason and Michael agree that Adam Fox is the superior fantasy player. Not only is he on a better team, he's the only premier power play option on the Rangers.
Fox's 31 assists and 20 power-play assists rank 10th and sixth among defensemen in the league. Hughes is the better shooter and will likely score more goals, and who knows how they'll stack up a few years from now, but Fox certainly has been more productive this season.
With +/- coming into play, that's certainly another edge Fox has on Hughes.
Looking ahead to the following season, Hughes will also have to contend with Dougie Hamilton for power-play minutes.
