Florida has enjoyed quite a bit of success against Carolina over the past couple seasons
The Florida Panthers will put a couple winning streaks on the line when they hit the ice on Thursday night in Raleigh.
Florida will go to battle with the Carolina Hurricanes looking for their seventh consecutive win overall and to extend an already franchise record 11-game road winning streak.
The strong stretch by the Panthers goes all the way back to Christmas time.

They're an NHL-best 19-3-2 since Dec. 23, which has boosted Florida to the best points percentage in the league, slightly ahead of Western Conference leading Vancouver entering play Thursday.
This will be the second rematch of last season's Eastern Conference Finals.
Florida hosted Carolina back on Nov. 10, with the Panthers earning a 5-2 victory.
The Cats received multi-point efforts from Matthew Tkachuk, Sasha Barkov, Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Reinhart that night.
Overall, the Panthers have won six of their past eight meetings with Carolina, not including the four-game sweep from the ECF.
The Hurricanes, meanwhile, have also been playing some solid hockey over the past couple months.
Carolina is 8-2-0 over their past 10 outings overall and an impressive 16-4-1 since emerging from the NHL's annual holiday break on Dec. 27.
Here are the Panthers projected lines and pairings ahead of Thursday's battle in Raleigh:
Carter Verhaeghe – Sasha Barkov – Sam Reinhart
Nick Cousins – Sam Bennett – Matthew Tkachuk
Eetu Luostarinen – Anton Lundell – Evan Rodrigues
Jonah Gadjovich – Kevin Stenlund – Ryan Lomberg
Gus Forsling – Aaron Ekblad
Niko Mikkola – Brandon Montour
Oliver Ekman-Larsson – Dmitry Kulikov
