Wednesday marks exactly one month since the Panthers won the Stanley Cup
It's been a fun summer with the Stanley Cup so far for the Florida Panthers.
Over the past couple weeks, members of the Panthers who were a part of last month's Stanley Cup victory have been receiving their special 24 hours with the historic trophy.
Among those to get their special time have been Matthew Tkachuk, Anthony Stolarz, Sunny Metha, Josh Mahura, Les Jackson and Chris McLellan.
On Tuesday, it was Senior Advisor Rick Dudley's turn.
Dudley has been working in pro hockey for what feels like forever.
The significance of finally winning a Stanley Cup championship after more than 50 years was something that does not escape Dudley, or those who have shared in his hockey journey.
One of those is longtime friend and Panthers General Manager Bill Zito, who made sure get Dudley some spotlight as the team celebrated in the moments after Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final.
"Bill (Zito) handed me the Stanley Cup after he had it, and he did it on purpose, because he wanted me to get some attention," Dudley told WKBW News in Buffalo. He knew he’d be on national TV, so he made Patric Hornqvist, a hall-of-fame player, come over and drag me over, so (Zito) could hand the cup off to me, and I got a thousand texts after people saw me on TV with that, it’s nice to think you’ve been appreciated.”

On Wednesday, the Stanley Cup was brought to Six Nations community Ohsweken by Brandon Montour.
The now-former Panthers defenseman was honored with a parade and celebration.
"I've told people today is obviously about me and what I've done, but today is about everyone else and to share that with them," Montour told CBC News.
Montour, an integral part of the Panthers success over the past few seasons, was an unrestricted free agent this summer and earned himself a hefty new paycheck.
He signed a 7-year deal with the Seattle Kraken worth $50 million on July 1.
After its stop in Ontario, the Stanley Cup will be heading west to spend some time with Sam Reinhart in British Columbia this weekend.
