Hall of Fame goaltender and social media giant Roberto Luongo nearly broke the hockey internet on Wednesday night.
At approximately 10:01 p.m. Luongo posted a video of himself eating a massive bowl of pasta out of the Stanley Cup.

The video shows Luongo and his family at Heritage in Fort Lauderdale.
Chef and owner Rino Cerbone is seen shaving a healthy amount of parmesan cheese on top of the pasta before Luongo dives in fork-first.
It looked like there was enough pasta in that bowl to feed the entire Luongo clan, and for those worried about all the alcohol that's been in that cup over the past 48 hours, it did appear that the pasta was inside a bowl that was then placed inside the cup.
Earlier in the day, Luongo posted a photo of himself at his desk, hard at work, with the Stanley Cup keeping him company.
It sure looks like the Hall of Fame goaltender is having a grand time with the greatest trophy in sports.
Luongo, whose No. 1 jersey hangs in the rafters above the ice at Amerant Bank Arena, will soon see a Stanley Cup Championship banner go up next to his.
It feels very appropriate for Luongo’s name to be etched into the Stanley Cup as a member of the Panthers, and a long time coming.
The next step will be making sure it’s only the only time, just the first time.
