Florida will play eight preseason games in five different arenas this September
It’s never too early to start looking ahead to next season.
Sure, the Florida Panthers 2023-24 season just ended on Monday, but to be fair, most hockey seasons don’t last for nine months and end in late June.
While the Panthers players out in Fort Lauderdale celebrating with the Stanley Cup on Tuesday, the team released its 2024-25 preseason schedule.
As crazy as it is to think about, Florida will be playing preseason hockey in less than three months.
The fun starts with the Panthers annual preseason doubleheader.
The Cats will welcome the Nashville Predators to Amerant Bank Arena for a pair of split-squad games that will take place on Sunday, Sept. 22.
In total, Florida will play eight preseason games. Half will be at home and half will be on the road.
The Panthers will play Tampa Bay in Orlando, Sunrise and Tampa, they’ll play a home-and-home with the Carolina Hurricanes and they’ll wrap up the exhibition schedule against the Los Angeles Kings at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City.
