The Stanley Cup is making its way back up north.

Recently, the Cup returned to South Florida for some authentic local food before spending some time with Matthew Tkachuk in his hometown of St. Louis.

In what’s becoming an excellent tradition, Tkachuk brought the Cup back to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

While there, he spent time with many of the young patients, taking pictures with them and giving them the opportunity to visit with the Stanley Cup.

Tkachuk also shared the cup with local first responders and made sure to visit his favorite local hangout, OB Clark’s.

You can check out footage of Tkachuk's day with the Cup in the video below:

This week, Lord Stanley’s Cup moved further up the map, heading to Wisconsin, the home of Panthers athletic trainer Brian Riedel.

According to WMTV 15 News in Madison, Riedel, a University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point graduate, brought the historic trophy to UW-Health’s American Family Children’s Hospital on Wednesday.

“I know some of these kids are going through some hard times, so just to put a smile on their face is all we want to do today and give them something to look at, admire, and hopefully inspire them to be a Stanley Cup champion someday,” Riedel told WMTV.

Riedel has been with the Panthers for both of their Stanley Cup-winning seasons. Before joining Florida, he was the head athletic trainer with the AHL’s Hershey Bears.

Soon, the Stanley Cup’s travels will take it back over the U.S.-Canada border.

Panthers forward Jonah Gadjovich will have his day with the Cup on Tuesday, and he’s bringing it to his hometown of Whitby, Ontario.

Among the events he has planned is a public hangout, where he’s invited locals, including his fellow Whitby Minor Hockey Association alumni, to come visit with the Cup.

For those in the area, it’s happening at Iroquois Park at Pad 4 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
