Game Notes

The Kings will be without Alex Turcotte (undisclosed), Kevin Fiala (leg surgery), and Mats Zuccarello (upper body), and will scratch Jared Wright and Cody Ceci for tonight's matchup. The Rangers will be without Igor Shesterkin (lower body), Joonas Korpisalo (lower body), and Joseph Veleno (lower body), and will scratch Scott Morrow and Matt Rempe.

The Kings are starting Darcy Kuemper in tonight's matchup; he made over 40 saves in his last start against the Islanders. The Rangers are starting James Reimer, who recently signed with the Rangers after their goaltending injuries.

The Rangers are on a 2-game losing streak and are looking to avoid a 3-game skid. The Kings will also need to watch Alexis Lafreniere, tied for 4th in the NHL in goals; while the Kings have been better defensively, they still need to limit the opponent's time in the offensive zone.

The Kings are set to take on the Rangers tonight at 7 P.m ET.
