ST. PAUL - Wild forward Freddy Gaudreau will likely not play in tonight's game against the San Jose Sharks after missing yesterday's game against the St. Louis Blues.
Gaudreau, 30, did not play last night against the Blues and will likely again be out of the lineup tonight against the Sharks.
The Wild center has been struggling recently and has only notched two points in his last 23 games with zero goals. His absence from the lineup allowed for Mason Shaw to make his season debut.
Shaw would play again tonight with Gaudreau likely out of the lineup. There isn't a timetable on Gaudreau's injury but he is nursing an upper-body injury.
