After a very eventful Friday, the Wild are set to host preseason game four tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Tonight will be the final game for many players in camp before they return to the AHL with the Iowa Wild. After the game, the Wild are expected to make a ton of cuts trimming down the roster to around 23 players.

Wild head coach Dean Evason stated they will carry three extra players to Duluth for their team bonding trip. Jujhar Khaira is expected to be one of them along with an extra goalie.

The third skater could be Vinni Lettieri, Sammy Walker, or Nic Petan but it is likely going to be Lettieri who has looked great throughout camp.

Most of the morning skate today was working on 3-on-3s and 1-on-1s. Evason has stressed throughout camp he wants his hockey team to have good sticks to deflect passes and shots.

The best way to work on that is little simulated games which is mainly what the Wild did in practice.

Minnesota will host the Blackhawks tonight at 6:00 p.m. for their fourth game of the preseason. For the rest of the preseason, the Wild will play their projected opening night lineup to get them ready for the season.
