The Wild announced today they have recalled forward Adam Beckman from the Iowa Wild and have placed forward Marcus Johansson on the Injured-Reserve.
Johansson, 33, practiced with the Wild yesterday but left early with an injury. Wild head coach John Hynes said Johansson was on the ice to see how it felt but he eventually left early. He got hurt in the St. Louis Blues game and missed the San Jose Sharks game.
Beckman, 22, has 16 goals and 29 points in 48 games for the Iowa Wild of the AHL this year and has seven goals and ten points in his last ten games for Iowa.
Marcus Foligno was on the ice for the Wild yesterday as well but isn't expected to play. Vinni Lettieri and Jake Lucchini cleared waivers yesterday but are likely both in the lineup tonight.
Meaning Beckman likely won't play tonight. But if the Wild were to make a trade before tonight's game or tomorrow at the deadline, Beckman would likely slot into the lineup.
