Former Wild goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen was the goaltender for the Charlotte Checkers and Jujhar Khaira was playing for the Abbotsford Canucks.
The Canucks are the AHL Affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks. The Checkers are the AHL Affiliate of the Florida Panthers.
Khaira, 30, spent one year in the Wild's organization during the 2023-24 season. He played in 22 games for the Iowa Wild and recorded five goals and 18 points. He played in one NHL game with the Wild and did not record any stats.
The 6-foot-5 forward recorded three goals and eight points in 17 regular season games for the Canucks this season. In the playoffs he recorded three goals and nine points in 24 games with 31 penalty minutes.
