    The former Wild forward has signed a one-year contract with the Winnipeg Jets.

    It was announced by the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday that they have signed forward Mason Shaw to a one-year deal. 

    The former Wild forward's deal carries a $775,000 value in the NHL and $350,000 in the AHL with $425,000 guaranteed.

    Shaw, 25, played in 20 games for the Wild last year. He recorded one goal and three points. He played in nine AHL games with the Iowa Wild as well. Shaw spent the whole first half of the season rehabbing from his fourth ACL surgery.

    The Wainwright, Alta., native has played in 82 NHL games with Minnesota over three seasons. He has recorded eight goals, 12 assists, 20 points, 122 hits, and 118 penalty minutes.
