    The former Wild prospect has left the AHL for the KHL.

    William Bitten, the former Wild prospect, has left the American Hockey League and signed a contract in the KHL with Spartak Moskva.

    Bitten, 26, spent four years in the Minnesota Wild's organization after they traded for him from the Montreal Canadiens. He was Montreal's 70th overall pick from the 2016 draft. 

    In four years with the Iowa Wild, Bitten recorded 31 goals, 46 assists, and 77 points in 168 games. He was later traded to St. Louis where he spent the last two and a half seasons. 

    He had 49 goals, 54 assists, and 103 points in 178 games for the Springfield Thunderbirds. Bitten appeared in four NHL games with the Blues and zero with the Wild. He recorded one assist in those four games. 

    After six years in the AHL, Bitten is off to the KHL. He notched 80 goals, 100 assists, and 180 points in 346 career AHL games.
