Kirill Kaprizov is on pace to break some Minnesota Wild franchise records next season.
Minnesota Wild star winger could break some Wild records in the 2024-25 season. Kirill Kaprizov will enter the season fourth all-time in goals with 160. The leader is Marian Gaborik at 219.
He likely won't pass Gaborik next season but he could pass Zach Parise and Mikko Koivu. Parise had 199 goals with the Wild and Koivu had 205. If Kaprizov has another 40-plus goal season, he would pass Parise and be right next to Koivu.
Kaprizov, 27, ranks outside the top ten in all-time assists but he will easily be in the top ten after the 2024-25 season concludes. He will enter the year with 170 assists. Another 40-plus assist season and Kaprizov will be seventh all-time in Wild history.
The 5-foot-10 forward ranks seventh all-time in Wild history for points with 330. He is 18 points away from passing Pierre-Marc Bouchard, 40 from Ryan Suter, 71 from Parise, and 108 from passing Gaborik. Spurgeon ranks fourth with 384, 54 more than Kaprizov, but will add to that total next year.
One record that will be broken, if Kaprizov stays healthy the whole year, is the power-play goals record. Parise has the Wild record with 69 career power-play goals. Kaprizov currently sits in fourth with 58. He is 11 goals away from tying and 12 from passing Parise.
In the last three seasons Kaprizov has 50 total power-play goals which is roughly 16 a season. He looks to be on pace to break Parise's record next season.
Another big year for Kaprizov and you can bet he will break some Wild all-time records as well as being on his way to breaking some more in years to come.
