Wild's Kirill Kaprizov will face no suspension or fine from his hit on Alexandre Carrier in Nashville.

The Wild definitely dodged a bullet during the Minnesota's 6-1 over the Nashville Predators on Thursday from a play that probably should've resulted in a fine and or a suspension.

Ryan Hartman was recently suspended after his slew-foot on Alex DeBrincat in Detroit. He was suspended for two games and will return to the lineup on Sunday against the Chicago Blackhawks.

But during the first period in Nashville, Kaprizov picked up an interference penalty after hitting Predators defenseman Alexandre Carrier into the boards.

"I thought it was a bad hit, honestly," Roman Josi said after the game. "He's in a vulnerable position and there's no reason for Kaprizov to hit him there. I think those are the kind of hits you don't want in the game."

There has not been any type of fine or hearing for Kaprizov from the NHL Players Safety organization so all indications point to Kaprizov being able to play on Sunday while Carrier is out week-to-week.
