The Maple Leafs forward was seen at the Minnesota State Fair on Friday.

The Minnesota State Fair opened on Thursday and runs through Labor Day here in Minnesota. On Friday, Mitch Marner posted a photo on his instagram story showing he was at the fair.

Who or why was Marner in Minnesota at the fair?

He was with his former teammate Justin Holl. Marner reposted Holl's partner Audrey's posting on her Instagram account of the two coming away as big winners with stuffed animals.

Holl, 32, is from Edina, MN., and played college hockey for the University of Minnesota. He was teammates with Marner in Toronto for a few seasons and was on the Detroit Red Wings last year.

Marner was paying Holl a visit in Minnesota recently and the Minnesota native decided to show him around the State Fair.
