Wild teammates Jared Spurgeon and Marc-Andre Fleury have now been stunned by Denmark in the quarterfinals.
Winnipeg Jets' Nikolaj Ehlers scored with the goalie off the ice to tie the game 1-1 with under three minutes left.
Denmark's Nick Olesen scored with 49 seconds left in the third to walk away with a huge victory over Canada.
Fleury is 2-1-0 in the tournament with a .944 save percentage and a 0.97 goals-against average. Spurgeon has two assists and is a plus-7 in eight games for Canada.
