Sammy Walker had a big night last night for the Iowa Wild. The Wild beat the Tucson Roadrunners 5-4 thanks to Walker's overtime-winning goal.
Walker, 24, finished the night with two goals and an assist which boosted his season totals to nine goals and 29 points in 43 games. Last season Walker recorded 27 goals and 48 points in 56 games but this year he has struggled a bit in terms of points production.
But hopefully, last night gets Walker going a bit. He has three goals and five points in his last five games and seven points in his last ten games.
The former University of Minnesota forward is on pace for 15 goals and 48 points in 70 games this season for Iowa.
