On Wednesday, EA Sports posted its ratings for the top-ten goaltenders for the 2025-26 season. Veznia and Hart Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck was rated as the top goaltender in the NHL at a 94.

The 6-foot-2 goaltender was seventh among NHL with an 89 overall rating. Jake Oettinger (90), Sergei Bobrovsky (90), Ilya Sorokin (91), Igor Shesterkin (92), Andrei Vasilevskiy (93) and Hellebuyck were ranked higher.
Gustavsson, 26, went 31-19-6 during the regular season with a 2.56 goals-against average (GAA) and a .914 save percentage (SV%) in 58 games. In six playoff games, Gustavsson went 2-3-0 with a 2.71 GAA and a .914 SV%.
