The Minnesota Wild are back in action Monday night for their second of four preseason games, once again taking on the Chicago Blackhawks.

Minnesota will bring another young lineup to the United Center, highlighted by an intriguing top line of Maxim Shabanov, Danila Yurov and Bobby Brink.

Shabanov and Yurov are both competing for significant roles with the Wild this season, while Brink is also expected to be part of Minnesota’s NHL forward group.

Rieger Lorenz will also be back in the lineup after an impressive preseason opener. Lorenz recorded a goal and an assist Saturday against Chicago and will skate alongside Hunter Haight and Mason Shaw.

Charlie Stramel, Carson Lambos, Daemon Hunt and David Spacek are among the other young players getting another opportunity after appearing in the preseason opener.

Calvin Pickard and Filip Ruzicka are the two goaltenders on Minnesota’s roster for Monday’s game. Wild head coach John Hynes previously said Pickard and Jesper Wallstedt are each expected to start two of the team’s four preseason games. 

The Wild and Blackhawks are scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT puck drop at United Center.
