ST. PAUL - The Wild opened training camp on Thursday and had only two players not participate due to injuries. Forward Mikey Milne was one of them and goaltender Troy Grosenick was the other.
Milne, 21, has played the last two seasons in the AHL with the Iowa Wild. He recorded eight goals, 13 assists, and 21 points in 40 games. Milne was the Wild's 89th overall pick from the 2022 Draft.
Grosenick, 35, was signed as a free agent by the Wild on July 1st. The veteran goaltender played in 30 games last year for the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL. He went 17-8-2 with a 2.56 goals-against-average and a .907 save percentage.
