One of the Wild's prospect wore the captain's patch for team Finland at the Summer Showcase.

The Summer Showcase has been underway for almost a week now in Michigan. Many Wild prospects are competing in the showcase for their respective teams.

One is particular is Rasmus Kumpulainen, the Wild's 53rd overall pick from the 2023 NHL Draft.

Kumpulainen, 18, is playing for Team Finland with fellow Wild prospect Sebastian Soini. On Wednesday, Kumpulainen wore the captains patch for Finland.

The soon to be 19-year-old will be a big part of Finland's team for the upcoming 2025 World Junior Championships and will likely wear a letter there as well.

Aron Kiviharju, who the Wild drafted in the fourth round of 2024 will also be a part of Finland's leadership group for the WJC.
