    Wild prospect Zeev Buium is off to a fast start at the Summer Showcase for Team USA.

    The Minnesota Wild have a few prospects participating in the 2024 Summer Showcase in Michigan. One of them, Zeev Buium, is off to a hot start for Team USA. 

    In two games for USA, Buium has recorded three assists and has been the team's number one defenseman. 

    Buium, 18, was the Wild's 12th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft and is set to return to Denver University where he won the National Championship with last year. 

    In 42 games for the Pioneers last year Buium recorded 11 goals, 39 assists, and 50 points. He made the NCHC's All-Rookie team, All-Tournament team, won the Rookie of the Year award, was a Hobey Baker Nominee, and won the best offensive defenseman in the NCHC.
