

According to some reports, Minnesota Wild prospect Ryder Ritchie will be leaving the Western Hockey League (WHL) to join the Boston University Terriers of the NCAA.
Ritchie, 18, was the Wild's second round pick from the 2024 NHL Draft. He was the 45th overall pick.
During the 2024-25 season, Ritchie recorded 29 goals, 32 assists, and 61 points in 53 games for the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL.
In 18 playoff games for the tigers, Ritchie recorded nine goals and nine assists. He will now make the jump from the WHL to the NCAA with Boston University.
