Wild Top Prospect Scores Three Goals In AHL Game

The Wild prospect has been playing well in the AHL since being sent down.

The Minnesota Wild recently sent down one of their top prospects to the American Hockey League (AHL) at the end of October.

In four games with the Iowa Wild, Liam Ohgren has four goals. He recorded a goal in his second game of the year and just recently scored three in a game.

Ohgren, 20, recorded zero points, eight shots, and was a minus-2 in seven NHL games this year. He recorded three goals in his fourth AHL game of the year on November 9th.

It is important that the former 2022 first-round pick gets to play games and the AHL provides an opportunity for Ohgren to play top-six minutes and special teams play.

So far he is getting that chance and is producing.
