    With Liam Ohgren in the NHL now, Brendan Gaunce will represent the Iowa Wild in the AHL All-Star game.

    With Liam Ohgren in the NHL now with the Minnesota Wild, Brendan Gaunce will represent the Iowa Wild in the upcoming AHL All-Star game.

    Ohgren, 21, was the Wild's 19th overall pick from the 2022 NHL Draft. He has two assists in 14 NHL games this year. 

    The 6-foot forward has played in 22 games for the Iowa Wild this year and has ten goals and six assists. He was originally Iowa's All-Star selection but Ohgren is now in the NHL with the Wild. 

    Gaunce, 30, has 13 goals, 10 assists, and 23 points in 30 AHL games with the Iowa Wild. In five NHL games this year with the Wild, Gaunce has zero points.
