Concerns mount in St. Paul as Minnesota’s star winger remains sidelined following a late-game collision, while coaching staff manages critical roster absences ahead of Hockey Fights Cancer night.

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild was on the ice for a practice during the Rink Side Rally. Saturday was the day we would get a glimpse of where the injured guys are at.

Nick Foligno and Marcus Foligno were on the ice. The Wild have Hockey Fights Cancer night on Sunday, so they did a team picture before Saturday's practice. Nick Foligno left after that and did not practice.

Marcus stayed on the ice and skated on a line with Joel Eriksson Ek and Matt Boldy. Marcus was a place holder for Kirill Kaprizov who was not on the ice.

Kaprizov, 29, was hit late in Thursday's game by goaltender Joel Hofer. He played the next 45 seconds for the power play. He later left and did not play the final three minutes.

After the game, John Hynes said Kaprizov is OK. So, Kaprizov not on the ice on Saturday, was likely for maintenance reasons. Quinn Hughes was also not on the ice for the whole practice. We will get an update from Hynes later.
