ST. PAUL - The Wild pulled off two impressive wins on the road in Edmonton and Seattle to get them back into the playoff race but three straight losses have now dropped the Wild's playoff odds by 20 percent, according to MoneyPuck.com.

On Sunday the 25th, the Wild had a 27.7 percent chance at making the playoffs according to MoneyPuck. They entered a week that had two very important games. One against the Nashville Predators and one against the St. Louis Blues.

The Wild lost both of them and now have put themselves ten points behind the Predators and three behind the Blues. Just about a week ago the Wild were only two points out of a playoff spot but are now ten behind the Predators and eight behind the Los Angeles Kings for the last playoff spot.

The Kings have played three less games than the Wild though so that difference could be a lot bigger. As of today, the Wild's playoff chances sit at 7.7 percent according to MoneyPuck.

The Predators have won eight games in a row and bolstered their playoff chances from 50.5 percent to 79.6 in one week.

With a game tonight against the San Jose Sharks who are 31st in the NHL, the Wild have a good chance of raising their playoff chances by a percent or two but it wouldn't be that much unless the Kings lost to the New Jersey Devils today.

Just two games remain for the Wild before the NHL Trade Deadline. There aren't many players the Wild could move but Connor Dewar and Brandon Duhaime could be a couple of players that might be moved.
