MONTREAL - It's that time of the year again and this time around, Montreal Canadiens GM Kent Hughes is not just looking to sell, he's looking to acquire pieces that could help his team right away. The Canadiens team site wanted to create a one-stop shop for everything related to the Habs 2025 trade deadline.

When is the trade deadline?  On Friday, March 7, in just over a week.

Who are the Canadiens likely to move? Their pending UFAs appear to be the most likely candidate for a move; Jake Evans, Christian Dvorak, Joel Armia, and David Savard. Some have also suggested Mike Matheson could be an interesting asset to move.

What should the Canadiens' strategy be approaching the deadline? The answer to that one has changed over the season...

Who could be a possible target for the Canadiens? There have been a few names swirling around for some time on the market; Dylan Cozens, Trevor Zegras and Noah Dobson have been mentioned.

Cozens or Dobson would be amazing but im more concerned on the assets going the other way that could effect their prospect pool

I’d go for both! goal is playoffs run next year, those 2 assets would go a long towards achieving that. we have tons of picks to play with

Martin75 Who would you be willing to sacrifice for them though? Just picks isn't going to do it...

KarineHains yeah for sure just picks won’t do. Either of Mailloux or Reinbacher (although I’m a big fan of both) plus pick for Dobson I can live with. I have no clue what Buffalo is looking for tho lol. my guess again, prospect and picks.

Do you believe the Canadiens will be very active at the trade deadline? Will Hughes manage to acquire something else than just future assets?

    Salut bien chers amis,

Honestly,do other teams want depth players or do they want more from us?

    CH14,CH13, CH17, CH21 (injured),CH11, ,CH77 (injured now)etc

Most teams can find depth players in their own ahl farm system.if i was serious contender i would want one or two of their big pieces, point à la ligne.

    Portez-vous bien Allhabs always
