The Predators continue surging at the perfect time heading down the stretch.
The Nashville Predators have been very good over the past three weeks, winning 10 of 11 games and taking over the first wildcard spot in the West. This has been a team effort as both goalies have played great, the defense has been solid, and they are getting scoring from throughout their lineup.
The Predators have played so well as of late in fact that the team now has the third-longest point streak in franchise history at 11, spanning from Feb. 17 to now. This team is three games from matching the second-longest at 14 games in 2015-16 and four from matching the longest in franchise history at 15 games in 2017-18.

Both of these streaks the Predators are gunning for this season came in pretty successful seasons and the best run the team has had in their history from 2014-19. In both seasons these point streaks occurred, the team went to the second round of the playoffs after finishing fourth place in their division and then first place.
Former head coach Peter Laviolette was on the bench for these glory days in Nashville, but as the young team really impresses, there is a feeling of hope around the Predators that something special could happen, especially after general manager Barry Trotz had confidence in the group to go and add some pieces.
