    Nathan Bastian will face the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday night at Prudential Center. It marks his second game against his former team. 

    Now a member of the Dallas Stars, the 27-year-old will return to game action after serving as a healthy scratch for the last three games. A spot in the lineup opened up after Tyler Seguin suffered an ACL injury Tuesday night against the New York Rangers

    In 17 games with the Stars, Bastian has three goals. By comparrison, he had four goals in 59 games with the Devils  last season. 

    Bastian was selected by New Jersey in 2016 in the second round. Over six seasons, the 6-foot-4 winger earned 66 points (32 goals, 34 assists) in 264 games played. He signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Stars on Aug. 9, 2025
