The New Jersey Devils will look to jump back into the win column in Winnipeg when they face the Jets at Canada Life Centre on Tuesday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:00 P.M. The Devils held a morning skate at 12:30 P.M.

This afternoon, Alexander Holtz spoke to the media about his elevated role on the team's second line alongside Dawson Mercer and Tyler Toffoli and what he hopes to contribute.

"I want to bring a lot of creativity out there," he said. "We are three really offensively gifted players, so yeah, produce a lot of offense and hopefully bury some goals."

Last season, New Jersey earned a 1-1- record versus Winnipeg. In their previous meeting, the Jets earned a 6-1 victory. Jesper Bratt has at least a point in every game versus tonight's opponent except for two (11/18/17 and 2/19/23).

  • Jets' forward Kyle Connor was named the second star of the week ending Nov. 12. Per the press release, "he led all NHL goal-scorers last week with five goals, three assists, and eight points as the Jets (7-5-2, 16 points) won two of three starts to maintain their third-place spot in the Central Division."
  • Defenseman John Marino enters tonight's game on a four-game point and assists streak (zero goals, four assists). His longest point streak for his career is six games, which he earned with Pittsburgh.
  • Per the media notes, the Jets have outshot their opponent in six consecutive games. Winnipeg is averaging 33.1 shots per game this season, seventh in the NHL. They have allowed 27.6 shots per game, the fifth-fewest in the league. Winnipeg's plus-42 shot differential this season is tied for second in the NHL.
