New Jersey has an all-time record of 4-5-1 versus Vegas.

The New Jersey Devils will host the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday night at Prudential Center. This is their first matchup of the season. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. The team held a 10:30 A.M. morning skate.

Head coach Lindy Ruff confirmed veteran defenseman Colin Miller is sick and will not be available for tonight's game. Santeri Hatakka will draw into the lineup after being recalled from the American Hockey League on Jan. 18. He will be paired with Cal Foote, who he previously played with in Utica.

"We played a lot together this year," Hatakka said. "We know each other pretty well on and off the ice. I think it helps when we have that experience together."
