Nico Hischier Update

The organization announced Nico Hsichier would not play Monday night.

In the team's last game against the Montreal Canadiens, Nick Suzuki cross-checked Hischier, who did not finish the game.

"He was not able to finish the game," head coach Sheldon Keefe said on Saturday. "I expect him to be day-to-day but we'll see where he's at tomorrow and how things settle down."

On Monday, Keefe provided another update on his captain.

"He is doing okay," he said to NJD.TV. "Similar to the other night. He has gone back to New Jersey to get evaluated. We will have more information once we get that figured out."
