The New Jersey Devils will face the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center on Monday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Devils held a morning skate at 11:30 a.m.
Before the players hit the ice, the organization announced that Brian Halonen had been recalled from the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League (AHL). He made his season debut for the Devils days ago, on Jan. 18, against the Flyers. He played 11:35 and began the game on a line with Paul Cotter and Dawson Mercer.

Jack Hughes did not participate in the team's morning skate but will play. MacDermid served as a placeholder on the top line.
The organization announced Nico Hsichier would not play Monday night.
In the team's last game against the Montreal Canadiens, Nick Suzuki cross-checked Hischier, who did not finish the game.
"He was not able to finish the game," head coach Sheldon Keefe said on Saturday. "I expect him to be day-to-day but we'll see where he's at tomorrow and how things settle down."
On Monday, Keefe provided another update on his captain.
"He is doing okay," he said to NJD.TV. "Similar to the other night. He has gone back to New Jersey to get evaluated. We will have more information once we get that figured out."
