On Sunday night, the New Jersey Devils will host the Nashville Predators at Prudential Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Devils did not hold a morning skate, and interim head coach Travis Green met with the media at 5:00 P.M.

In the afternoon, the organization announced that forward Shane Bowers had been recalled from the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League (AHL).
