Jonas Siegenthaler will draw back into the New Jersey Devils lineup tonight after being sidelined with a concussion.

New Jersey Devils interim head coach Travis Green confirmed Jonas Siegenthaler will return to the lineup Tuesday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

"He is expected to play tonight," Green said of Siegenthaler.

The defenseman missed the last nine games with a concussion sustained after an illegal hit from New York Rangers forward Matt Rempe. The latter was handed a four-game suspension from the NHL Department of Player Safety.

Siegenthaler returned to the ice on March 30 and has participated in the team's last two practice sessions.

"Good to see. I thought he looked good," Green said after Siegenthaler's first practice. "He’s a good pro. Keeps himself in shape. It’s obvious that he’s been doing that. He looked sharp today."

On Monday, with Siegenthaler's return becoming imminent, the organization assigned Santeri Hatakka to the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League.
