New Jersey Devils fans will not see Ryan Graves in Tuesday night's tilt against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The former Devils defenseman sustained a concussion against the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 28. He played 5:27 before leaving the game with an upper-body injury.
The next day, head coach Mike Sullivan confirmed the 6-foot-5 blueliner's diagnosis.
Graves has appeared in 70 games this season and has 14 points (three goals, 11 assists). He most recently played on the third defensive pair alongside Jack St. Ivany.
He signed a six-year, $27 million contract with the Penguins on July 1, 2023, as a free agent after spending two seasons in New Jersey. As a Devil, he appeared in 153 games and collected 54 points.
The Penguins injury list additionally includes Matt Nieto (lower body), Jansen Harkins (upper body), John Ludvig (illness), and Tristan Jarry (illness).
