The New Jersey Devils have made a roster move, recalling goalie prospect Isaac Poulter from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Utica Comets. The Devils also announced that he joined the NHL club for their optional morning skate.
Poulter's call-up comes with veteran goaltender Jake Allen being questionable for the Devils' upcoming contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Poulter, 23, has appeared in nine games this season with the Comets, where he has a 2-4-2 record, a .871 save percentage, and a 3.32 goals-against average.
During this past season with Utica, Poulter had a 17-8-1 record, a .911 SV%, and a 2.55 GAA in 28 appearances. He also had a 5-0-1 record in six appearances with the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL in 2023-24.
