The New Jersey Devils hit the ice for practice today at RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House with the additions of three new players.

Forwards Cody Glass, Daniel Sprong, and defenseman Dennis Cholowski were all present after each was acquired by New Jersey ahead of the NHL trade deadline.
With excess players and so many spots in the lineup, changes were expected as there is new internal competition.
"If guys aren't at the top of their game, we've got guys who can come in and play," Fitzgerald said on Friday.
Head coach Sheldon Keefe debuted the following lines and pairs on Saturday afternoon:
Timo Meier - Nico Hischier - Stefan Noesen
Ondrej Palat - Dawson Mercer - Jesper Bratt
Erik Haua - Cody Glass - Daniel Sprong
Tomas Tatar - Curtis Lazar - Nathan Bastian
Extras: Paul Cotter & Justin Dowling
Luke Hughes - Brett Pesce
Brian Dumoulin - Johnathan Kovacevic
Brenden Dillon - Dennis Cholowski
Extras: Kurtis MacDermid & Simon Nemec
Jacob Markstrom/Jake Allen
Based on the lineup, all three newcomers are expected to play on Sunday afternoon against the Philadelphia Flyers.
"I have had a bunch of video sessions today, so it has been a lot of things just coming at me really quick," Glass said to NJD.TV. "I think I have been handling it well. But at the same time, you want to get into a game, you want to feel it, you want to be able to battle with the team, so I am looking forward to it."
Cotter, who looks to be a healthy scratch against the Flyers, has appeared in all 64 games this season and has 19 points (13 goals, six assists). He last scored on Feb 8, 2025, against the Montreal Canadiens and leads the team in hits with 205.
Keefe did not meet with the small media group at practice. He will address reporters tomorrow morning before his team's game at 1:00 p.m.
