This is the second time this season that Palat will miss at least one game due to a lower-body injury.
Palat will be missing his 11th game this season. In the 51 games Palat has played in, he's registered nine goals and 24 points. The Devils signed Palat to a five-year, $30 million contract in the summer of 2022. He won two Stanley Cups with the Tampa Bay Lightning before signing with the Devils.
