These two Devils stars are continuing to stay hot.
New Jersey Devils stars Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt are both having excellent seasons. Heading into Feb. 4's contest against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Hughes had 21 goals and 61 points in 54 games. Bratt, on the other hand, had 16 goals and 59 points in 54 contests.
Hughes and Bratt stayed red-hot in their contest against the Penguins, as both players extended their ongoing point streaks to six games. At the 19:43 mark of the first period, Hughes secured Bratt's rebound in front and just got it past Penguins goalie Alex Nedeljkovic.
With this, Bratt now has two goals and six assists during his six-game point streak. Hughes, on the other hand, has three goals and seven points over his streak.
It will be fascinating to see if Hughes and Bratt can keep this up, but right now, they are undoubtedly feeling it.
