
New Jersey Devils winger Timo Meier's elective arthroscopic surgery on his shoulder was successful.

NEWARK, N.J. -- A New Jersey Devils spokesperson confirmed to The Hockey News that forward Timo Meier's elective shoulder surgery was successful.
The procedure was performed by Devils Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jonathan L. Glashow and Team Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Guillem Gonzalez-Lomas on April 23. In the organization's statement, it said Meier is expected to make a full recovery to be available for 2024 New Jersey Devils Training Camp.
In addition to his shoulder, Meier confirmed during his exit interview that he hurt both of his MCLs and an oblique during the season.
Meier played 69 games in 2023-24 and earned 52 points (28 goals, 24 assists). He completed the season with four points in his last three games.
