The New Jersey Devils have made another roster move, placing forward Justin Dowling on waivers.

Dowling's placement on waivers comes as Devils forward Curtis Lazar is set to return to the lineup for the club's upcoming matchup against the St. Louis Blues.

Dowling, 34, was recalled by the Devils back in late October following Lazar's injury. In 21 games this season with the Devils, Dowling has two goals, one assist, 16 hits, and a minus-2 rating.

Dowling has also appeared in six games with the Utica Comets this campaign, where he has two goals and four points.

Teams looking for more forward depth could consider taking a flier on Dowling. However, if he goes unclaimed, he will return to Utica.
