Now, he has earned this long-term deal and significant raise because of it. In 63 games this campaign with the Devils, Kovacevic has one goal, 14 points, 81 blocks, 83 hits, and a plus-11 rating. With this, he needs just two more points to set a new career-high. It will be interesting to see how Kovacevic responds after earning this big contract through his play from here.
