Former New York Islanders forward and current Florida Panther Kyle Okposo will make his Conference Finals debut:

The 36-year-old, who has played in eight of Florida's 15 postseason games thus far with two assists, is competing for the Stanley Cup for the first time since 2016, his last season with the Islanders.

New York beat the Panthers in Round 1 in six games before falling in five games to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

That summer, Okposo signed with the Buffalo Sabres, a team that never made the playoffs in his eight seasons in Western New York.

When the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline, Okposo asked to be moved, joining the elite Panthers in hopes of being able to hoist the Stanley Cup before his career came to a close.

Last playing in  Game 5 against the Boston Bruins, Okposo will play on Florida's fourth line for Game 4 against the New York Rangers and is projected to skate alongside Steven Lorenz and Kevin Stenlund with puck drop at 8 PM ET on ESPN and ESPN+.

In 62 career games against the Rangers, Okposo has 12 goals and 22 assists.
