With a few call-ups, the Rangers endeavor to Minnesota to play the struggling Wild.

The New York Rangers (8-2-0) take on the Minnesota Wild (3-5-2) tonight at 8:00 P.M (EST).

The Rangers will be without Adam Fox (LTIR) and Filip Chytil (IR), as well as Igor Shesterkin (banged up) and Barclay Goodrow (birth of a child).

Captain Jared Spurgeon will also be out of the lineup for the Wild, who have lost 4 straight games, 6 of their last 7, and have the worst PK in the NHL (63.6%).

The Rangers come into the contest without their power play quarterback in Fox but have the third-best power play in the NHL (32.4%).

Daemon Hunt was called up with Spurgeon out. Hunt played 4 games for the AHL Iowa Wild before his addition to the big club. Spurgeon has 2 assists in 6 games this season. Frederick Gaudreau is labeled as day-to-day, and Alex Goligoski and Mason Shaw are on the IR.

The Rangers will likely start Johnathan Quick in the net, calling up Louis Domingue from the Hartford Wolf Pack to back him up. Jonny Brodzinski and Connor Mackey were also added to the roster.
