    The New York Rangers (29-16-3) play the second half of a back-to-back against the Ottawa Senators (18-24-2). The puck is set to drop at the Canadian Tire Center at 7:00 p.m. (EST).

    The last time the Rangers played in Ottawa was on Dec. 5, where the Senators won 6-2. 

    The Blueshirts are 4-7-2 in Januar and 3-6-1 in their last 10 games. New York last night to the Vegas Golden Knights 5-2, surrendering a Jonathan Marchessault hat trick. 

    The Senators come into the contest 4-4-2 in their last ten games. Both teams will play for confidence heading into the week-long All-Star break.

    Rangers Notes: Jacob Trouba has been suspended two games for an elbow on Vegas Golden Knights forward Pavel Dorofeyev. 

    Ryan Lindgren is a game-time decision for tonight's contest. The Rangers top-pairing defender took a heavy hit from Keegan Kolesar last night and immediately left the ice. He did not return for the rest of the game.  

    Mika Zibanejad enters the contest with one goal in his last 13 games, and Chris Kreider has two goals in his last 11 games

    Senators Notes: Defenseman Travis Hamonic and goaltender Anton Forsberg are both injured for tonight's contest. The Senators are healthier than the last few opponents the Rangers have faced. 

    Tim Stutzle has 45 points (10 goals, 35 assists) in 44 games this season. The 22-year-old is one of the top under-23 skaters in the NHL.
