When the New York Rangers drafted Alexis Lafreniere and Brennan Othmann, the club already employed two cornerstone flankers on the left side Artemi Panarin and Chris Kreider.
According to multiple reports, both prospects will have the opportunity to play on their off-wing to compete for a roster position.
Currently, the Ranger's natural right wing consists of Kaapo Kakko, Blake Wheeler, and Alex Belzile.
The Hockey News will be in Tarrytown, New York to cover the New York Rangers training camp next week.
