The Rangers are getting back Filip Chytil and Chris Kreider at a critical time.

Peter Laviolette confirmed that both Filip Chytil and Chris Kreider will return from their respective upper-body injuries on Saturday afternoon to take on the Montreal Canadiens.

Chytil collided with K’Andre Miller in a game on Nov. 14 against the San Jose Sharks as he has been sidelined ever since.

Chytil was originally being evaluated for a concussion, but it was quickly determined that he did not have a concussion and he was listed as day-to-day.

Meanwhile, Kreider has missed the past three games with an upper-body injury that remained a mystery for a while.

Kreider confirmed on Wednesday that back spasms were the reason for his brief absence.

“Back locked up on me – Sacrum. Few games back it was lumbar,” Kreider said via Mollie Walker of The New York Post.
