The Hockey News has been releasing its latest Top 100 NHL-affiliated prospect rankings in sections this week. On Wednesday, they shared the prospects ranked from 61 to 80.
Two Philadelphia Flyers prospects made the cut this time around: Egor Zavrakin and Jack Berglund.
Zavrakin was given the No. 73 spot on THN's prospect rankings. The 20-year-old goaltender has continued to show promise this season while playing in Russia. In 12 KHL games this season with SKA St. Petersburg, he had a .919 save percentage and a 2.63 goals-against average. He also had a 10-6-2 record, a .949 save percentage, and a 1.44 goals-against average in 18 games in the VHL this season.
As for Berglund, the 2024 second-round was given the No. 75 spot on THN's rankings. The 19-year-old forward has been showing plenty of upside this season in the SHL with Farjestad BK of the SHL, as he has seven goals and 12 points in 40 games.
Both Zavrakin and Berglund are prospects who have the potential to be impactful players for the Flyers later down the road. It will be interesting to see how they continue to develop their games from here.
